When you’re spending quality time with yourself, make sure you switch off your phone. If switching it off will cause too much anxiety, switch it to silent instead and avoid checking it during your “me time.” You want your entire focus to be on spending time with just you.

Spending quality time alone doesn’t have to mean you sit at home. Instead, why not go out for a long walk? Getting out in the fresh air for a walk, especially amongst nature, is known to make you feel great. It can give you time to think and clear your mind, leaving you feeling much more relaxed by the time you get home.

Finally, a great way to spend quality time with yourself is to have a spa day. Take time to pamper yourself, cleansing the skin, soaking the feet, and giving yourself a manicure. When we take care of ourselves, we feel much happier.
